Psoriasis Research Study

This trial is no longer accepting patients.

Company: Johnson & Johnson

Study: A Phase 3 Multicenter, Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled and Deucravacitinib Active Comparator-controlled Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of JNJ-77242113 for the Treatment of Participants With Moderate to Severe Plaque Psoriasis

The purpose of the ICONIC-ADVANCE 2 study is to help doctors and researchers learn more about the efficacy of the investigational medication. In this study, doctors want to evaluate the investigational medication when it is compared with a medication that is approved to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis, which is known as an active comparator medication.

The investigational medication is not approved by any regulatory health authority to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. It is only available to patients like you in research studies like this one.

The results of this study may provide more information about the investigational medication and whether it could one day be used to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.

Who must be included in psoriasis research? Everyone.

The study is seeking to include people from all backgrounds including young adults, older adults (65+), women, and all race & ethnic groups.

Diversity in research studies helps ensure that investigational medications are generally safe and effective for all the different people that will be using them. When diverse populations are included in research studies, we move closer to our goal of developing medications for those who need it!
