The CO2 laser is an innovative device that uses a molecular gas mixture laser to change your skin at the cellular level.

• Tighten and shrink pores
• Even out tone and texture
• Smooth fine lines and wrinkles
• Resolve acne scars
• Increase collagen production

CO2 Laser Treatment Levels

Mild-Level: Treating the skin’s surface level. This treatment is available for all skin types, and the benefits of the mild CO2 laser include shorter downtime and fewer complications. Other benefits include smoother superficial skin tone and texture, and treatment of minor hyperpigmentation. This is best suited for younger patients looking to start preventative laser treatments and may be done monthly. Downtime typically is 2-5 days depending on skin’s sensitivity. This treatment can also be used in thin skin areas such as eyelids for mild resurfacing.

Mid-Level: Treating deeper into the skin’s surface. A mid-level CO2 Laser treats lentigos, dyschromia, superficial-moderate rhytids, and melasma, as well as improves skin tone and stimulates collagen production. This laser treats skin types I-III. Skin tones with yellow or green undertones that tend to tan rather than burn would not be good candidates for this treatment due to the high risk of hypopigmentation. Typical downtime for this procedure is 7-10 days depending on skin sensitivity.

Fusion-Level: Deep ablative resurfacing. This procedure is best fit for skin types I-III, darker-pigmented skin is not recommended due to the high risk of hypopigmentation. Ideal candidates for this laser are individuals who have UV skin damage, fine lines or wrinkles, poor skin laxity or texture, and acne scars. This resurfacing procedure targets the bottom layer of skin to achieve dramatic and exceptional results. Pain will be assessed and controlled by the provider during the entire treatment. This treatment has 12-14 days of social downtime. Redness, swelling, and discomfort will be expected in the first few days post-procedure.
